Biscuits with Sausage Gravy

Biscuits
Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup shortening
1-1/2 cups milk
Butter flavored cooking spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 f. In large bowl mix flour and baking powder with wire whip. Add shortening and chop in with wire whip until mixture resembles course corn meal. Fold in milk until sticky dough is achieved. Turn out on floured board and coat both sides of dough. Pat out with hands (NO ROLLING PIN) Flatten to 3/4 inch thickness and cut with 2-3 inch cutter. I used a empty veggie can. Pace Biscuits on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray not allowing sides to touch.Then spray tops also before putting in oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Sausage and Gravy
1 pkg of favorite sausage
Flour to coat

Milk to thicken, approximately 1/2 gallon.

In Dutch oven,brown sausage. (Do not drain) Pour flour over cooked sausage until it is thickly coated. Brown 1 to 2 minutes.
Slowly add milk to make gravy and cook to thicken. Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over Biscuits.

Ingrown Toenails

Take small piece of gause...roll it up and coat it with polysporin. Gently tuck it under the affected toenail, which will separate it from sensitive skin area. Do not remove until it comes out on its own. Repeat if necessary.

When it came to choosing a Pogo name, I didn't have too much trouble -- my husband and I started watching birds not too long after we were married in 1969. We did a lot of travelling in our younger days and it was something to do while we were on the road and in the evenings.

We have 'birded' up and down the East Coast with a few ventures into Oklahoma. A few years ago, I signed up for the 'Feederwatch' program under the auspices of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This starts in November and runs thru March of each year. Two consecutive days of the week we count specie and number of bird feeders in our back yard and submit the results via email. It is really an entertaining hobby and we feel we are contributing to the study of birds. And watching feeders just a few feet outside our window gives us a 'bird's eye view' of a bird's world.

Coffee Filters
Safe stacking: Put a coffee filter between plates when storing. For nonstick pots and pans, use one to keep the surface from being scratched when you stack them.

Coffee Grounds
Odor-eliminator: Keep grounds in a can near the sink. Rub a small amount over your hands after peeling onions, chopping garlic or handling fish to get rid of the odor.

How would you like to earn a badge for yourself and a friend without having to win a tour? All you have to do is...

1. Invite a friend to join the just jumpers. New members can sponsor other new members.

2. Let me know who sponsored them to join.

3. Once the new member has competed 25 tours both the new member along with the member who invited them will receive their choice of M&M badge. (It is important that the new member experience enough tours to make an informed decision about being a Just Jumper.) 25 tours go by real fast.

4. The 25 tours must be completed within 1 month of join date.

5. For each new member you bring you will be eligible for a badge when each one reaches 25 tours.

6. People who withdraw and then rejoin are not elibible.

Success of this membership drive will determine if we run it again repeated in September

Pogo had an issue this past month, which upset a number of members. The issue was with the friends list and players profiles being private when they were not.

My daughter had a golf ball lump in her breast that was there for a while. She had ultra sound.

After a month on the essiac it down to smaller than a pea and then it was gone. We chose taking the essiac instead of doing any further testing on it. Figured leaving it alone and not doing biopsy and taking essiac would be best decision and it was.

I'm not a fan of medications and treatments. It sickens me that there are many natural cures other than these.
Also, Immunocal is great for cancer, alzheimers, parkinsons. That is a product I can give information on.
